She is an urban planner and architect with extensive experience in post-disaster recovery planning and implementation of recovery program with shelter and livelihood components; integrating climate and disaster risk in development plans; climate change vulnerability assessment; city/municipal-level land use planning; participatory community action planning; heritage conservation city planning; city sustainable infrastructure planning; and industrial park planning. She has designed/facilitated/ served as trainor in workshops related to land use planning, disaster risk reduction, climate change action planning and community resilience. She has also worked in various contexts ranging from direct community engagement to multi-sectoral coordination and planning involving government and non-government actors in local and national levels.
