She is a current Assistant Professor in the Institute of Human Nutrition and Food, UPLB and is a licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian in the Philippines. She joined the University in 2017 as a Teaching Associate after graduating cum laude in BS Nutrition and earning 3rd place in the Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Exam. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Applied Nutrition with Genetics as cognate in the same university and is continuously involved in several research and extension activities.

She handled various nutrition courses – from basic food selection and preparation, preservation, and management, nutrition in the life cycle, medical nutrition therapy, community and hospital dietetics field practicum, and public health nutrition to food and nutrition systems. Her research interests include nutrigenomics, toxicity, and public health nutrition.
